We can’t thank you enough for being a part of our Act for Edmonton campaign. The election was a huge success—with several candidates matching our progressive mandate getting elected to City Council.
However, the work is far from over. That’s why we’ll be continuing to fight for a better Edmonton and hold our councillors to account. As a part of that work, we’ll be growing our presence on social media and further developing the identity of Working Families Edmonton!
With the help of our community, we’ll be continuing to expand our mandate, provide resources for local action, and create new campaigns to unite and advance the interests of Edmonton’s working people.
One such thing is calling on the City of Edmonton as the sole shareholder in EPCOR to rein in the exorbatant pay packages that are given to it’s CEO and board directly from the pockets of working families in Edmonton.
